Three Ice Cream Shops in Indiana That You Have to Try
Summer will be here before you know it. I know it’s only April, but it’s okay to be optimistic, right? Okay good because June is only two short months away. Summer is spending time at the pool, playing a few rounds of golf, and getting ice cream with the family. This month’s blog post will focus on the last of those things: ice cream.
The first ice cream shop that you have to check out is Just Cream Ice Cream Boutique in Fort Wayne. This place is the bomb. They have a ton of different flavor choices, so there’s almost guaranteed to be at least one that everyone likes. But the number one reason you have to check this place out is for the extreme milkshakes. They create these massive milkshakes stacked high with toppings and other goodies. Just check out that photo. Yum!
The next place that you have to check out is Sundae’s Homemade Ice Cream in Fishers. Sundae’s is a locally owned ice cream shop that has been on the Northeast side of Indy since 1995. With recipes for over 140 different flavors of ice cream, they keep around 40 stocked at all times in the store. Their specialty is Graham Central Station. It’s graham cracker flavored ice cream filled with delicious chocolate chips. You can’t go wrong with Graham Central Station.
The last place you have to check out is Sundaes on Sylvan in Rome City. Sundaes on Sylvan is your classic lakeside ice cream shop. Located right along Sylvan Lake, you can get anything from a basic ice cream cone all the way to a donut ice cream sandwich! With beautiful views of the lake from their back patio, Sundaes on Sylvan is a must try if you are in the area!
Like I mentioned before, summer and ice cream go hand-in-hand. You can’t have one without the other. So, as we look forward to the best season of the year, I hope you and your family can add these ice cream places to your list of places to visit. Let us know what your favorite ice cream shops are, and we will add them to our list! Thanks for reading!
